02. HOT SHOTS GREEN (11+ YRS) WDTA COMPETITION

Once players have mastered Orange level, they progress to Green level. Internal club tournaments specific to Green level are run through-out the year.

Home & Away Venue Club Matches:

The Coaching Team formally invite players from Green level to represent the club and compete in weekend WDTA Junior competition in D Grade level (Green). Our aim is for the first WDTA competition experience to be a positive one for all players as they take their first step on the competition ladder. There are 14 rounds per season, Summer & Winter.

03. JUNIOR (12+ YRS) WDTA COMPETITION ‘TRIPLES’

Home & Away Venue Club Matches:

Once players have progressed to Junior level with a full adult court size / adult tennis balls, they are ready for WDTA competition in grade ‘D Special’ and above. The Triples format represents the required players per team (3) and the matches you play (1 singles set, 2 doubles sets). There are 14 rounds per season, Summer & Winter.

If players are brand new learning tennis in this level in their teenage years, the Coaching Team will formally advise players when they feel they are ready to take the next step and represent the club in weekend competition.

05. SENIOR COMPETITION- TRANSITIONING FROM JUNIORS

As Juniors progress through the WDTA ‘Rubbers’ format to A Grade, we then highly encourage Juniors to take the next step to weekend Senior competition. This not only includes Juniors who are 18+yrs who have ‘aged out’ of the Junior competition age requirement, but also for Juniors who are advancing to a level where they require a greater competitive challenge outside of the Junior environment.

FeMALES IN TENNIS - EXCLUSIVE TOURNAMENTS

With a female Head Coach (Jenni Blundell) directing 5th Dimension Tennis, female participation in tennis is a key focus. Some female players may not yet have the confidence to compete in mixed draws, and can be tentative to take the first step to competing.

Whilst other female players simply love playing with their female peers and having a lot of fun! The female exclusive tournaments are run with Head Coach Jenni, with the #1 goal being enjoyment on court! The tournaments include feedback to players whilst they are competing with tactics, technique, and understanding their opponent’s game styles.

JUNIOR MASTER CLASSES (14+YRS)

Our very popular themed Master Classes run through-out the year. A specific theme is run by the coaching team in an environment that includes technique / tactics drills and live ball play to achieve clear outcomes.

Master Classes have key focus points that players can then implement in their weekend competition matches. The themes include (but not limited to) are Serve & Return, Doubles Tactics, Weapons, Serve + 1, and the list goes on!…

JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

Our most popular Junior Event! This event is open to Junior competition players from A Grade through to D Special in their respective draws.

Both Boys and Girls draws are played, in a round robin format to engage high participation.
